Who's behind all the brands?


Companies. Lots of them.


The great bulk of our personal spending goes to companies of various sizes and industries, but we often don't even know who they are. We interact with a dizzying array of brands every day. Who can keep track of them all?

 

Who's affected by my purchases?


Anyone affected by the choices those companies make. Which means pretty much all of us.

Communities, employees, management, consumers, owners, our environment, and everyone that lives in it. All companies are not the same in the way they relate to those groups -- their "stakeholders." Some are making serious efforts to address serious problems; some are not.

Who's Hooze?

A community of communities. Specifically, a web community that corrals, weighs, and distributes info from research communities.

"Hoozers" bring in company data from various sources, analyze and condense it, and prepare it for others to use with less hassle.

Hooze.org is for gathering and analyzing information about companies from communities all over the web in order to make it available to companies' stakeholders in convenient ways.

Hooze is a project of Grass Commons, a 501(c)(3) public education charity.
